I strongly suggested hockey—the size disparities aren’t usually as great as they are in football.
At the top levels of play, soccer players are the best conditioned athletes in team sports.
Soccer also has lots of concussions, especially in youth leagues.
My daughter wanted to play, but in high school the size disparity was too great, I had to tell her no (other reasons too). If she could have played when she was younger, I would have let her. She thought all the boys she knew were weenies. She used to drag me out to the driveway to throw a ball, she has a great spiral.
She still bitches that I didn’t let her play.
Three years of high school football. Lettered. Offered scholarship to a Missouri Valley Conference team. Declined. I’d be lying if I said I enjoyed it. Miserable but learned lessons and attitudes that have served me well through life. Camaraderie and team spirit akin to my military experience. Extreme respect and reverence for the coaches.Wouldn’t trade it for anything.
And I think we all know how they turned out.

Your response suggests that you already have sustained CTE, the inability to think clearly. I wouldn't let my boys play football, you can bet; and they were also excellent wrestlers and ranked high in martial arts as well. Any one of them could probably kick your A$$.
