The first episode with the new Doctor and showrunner did very well in the UK, but it didn’t even beat out Peter Capaldi’s less hyped first episode as the 12th Doctor in the US. It wasn’t able to break 2 million viewers here.
There is a lot of clamoring for a black Doctor, even though blacks only make up 2% of the British population. Since the show is full-blown Cultural Marxist now, that will likely be the next step, not because they are looking for the best actor for the job who might happen to be black but just to pander and virtue signal. As crazy as it seems, there are already people calling the show racist for not having had a black Doctor, as if there is something inherently wrong in having a heroic white lead on British television.
Whatever it is a dead show with only 2m viewer in the US - usually the opening show has the highest number - 2m is barely in media territory viewer wise.
