I remember wearing hip-pleated skirts in high school...in the 60’s. I always liked them.
We had them for a while in Catholic school and then they changed our skirt to straight with no waist band (so you couldn’t roll them up).
I don’t like all that bulk on Mrs. Trumps dress on top, and the skirt is too long I think. Looks school marmish. But that’s just my opinion. Most everything she wears is fabulous.
