English rock star Billy Idol celebrated becoming a U.S. citizen on Thursday at a swearing-in ceremony in Los Angeles, California. “It’s a nice day for a naturalization ceremony. Congratulations Billy Idol on becoming a #newUScitizen today in Los Angeles, CA,” the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services tweeted, accompanied by photos from the ceremony.

“allentown, upton girl”.. thats got to be the funniest post of the day,.. The poster missed billys biggest hits like “pianoman and “only the good die young”. Rotflmao... Should we tell them he also wrote “ dancing with myself” and, “ rebel yell”.. or would that be tooo much for them? btw.. billys guitarist Steve Stevens is one very talented individual. and from NYC.

I thought Sting did the impression of Billy Idol on SNL.
Used to be, we denied visas to rock stars with known drug issues. Now we make them citizens. The times, they are a changing. It’s a nice day for a citizenship ceremony.
