I have a friend dealing with alcoholism. Crazy tough problem!
Go to rehab.
Disclaimer: I’m a guy.
After rehab- your husband must change or one of you leave.
Good God...where’s your decency????
1. Get to rehab
2. Don’t think about ANYTHING but getting sober
3. Meetings Meetings Meetings Meetings
4. Work with your sponsor you’ll get immediately.
5. Don’t drink
6. Don’t drink
7. Don’t drink
etc etc etc
Dont wait until Wednesday. Check in to rehab the first thing Tuesday morning.
“My husband doesn’t drink.”
Therein lies the problem. A lush married to a teetotaler. Who starts the fights? Ain’t going to work. There are happy, “nice” drunks and then there are the combative, belligerent types.Which one are you? Self evaluate. If the latter then either try and fix or else get off the sauce.

You are absolutely NUTS to tell someone who has a drinking problem to Go Cold Turkey.
What a moron !
THIS person can go into seizures and DIE.
She needs to go into medical treatment to stop.
You’re also an armchair psychologist too, know everything about domestic abuse, DO you?
Looks like some good, practical suggestions here that I couldn’t add to. Just wanted to say I feel for you and also feel bad for some of the childish replies here. One thing I would suggest is to get on your knees and pray to Jesus Christ for guidance to follow the right path and the strength to fight for the joy in life that you deserve. And don’t let anyone tell you that you are not worthy of that joy. Don’t let any man hit you. Your husband should be a protector, not an inflictor.
Go to rehab. Take it seriously! Get away from that abusive husband. Best of luck to you!
Lol, you are hilarious
Prayers
Just remember you’re a living organism on this planet, and you’re very safe. You’ve just taken a heavy drug. Relax, stay inside, and listen to some music. Do you have any Allman Brothers?
Omg...another brain dead wannabe doctor...you guys are nuts and out of line when you give medical advice on a forum.
Even a professional would say nothing more than..go to a doctor or rehab clinic.
Stop posting on the internet, CALL 911, tell them you’re in fear for your life, and get out.
First, kick out your abusive husband then apply for a divorce and get yourself straight.
God doesn’t listen to beggars, he does gladly hear and respond to our requests
No one deserves to endure physical abuse.
I dont know you, but you dont deserve that.
Seek out professional help for the alcohol abuse, there are always resources for that.
Go to a hospital if you need.
Report the abuse to LE. Get a psychiatrist and AA would help. There are medications that can help curb the need for the alcohol.
He’s also correct
