So, I had a work gig in Switzerland this past week and decided to stay a few extra days to play tourist. I ended up going to Italy and stayed in Milan for one night and Venice for two, then back in Geneva tonight so I’m close for my early afternoon flight on Tuesday.
My route from Venice to Geneva takes me through the Swiss and then French Alps. Lots of tunnels btw. After I cross into France, and come down off the mountains, there is a toll booth. As I approach, I’m getting the €4.10 in cash ready and I noticed that all of the automatic lanes are closed and only the manual lanes are open. As I get closer I noticed there was about a dozen toll workers standing along side the lane with their yellow vests on, the toll gates are up, and they were waving people through. Apparently this is part of the French protests we’ve been seeing on the news. Cool I thought.
They were hooting and hollering as I drove by and I yelled out GO TRUMP!! A couple of them yelled back VIVA LA TRUMP as I passed.
MAGA has turned to MEGA (Make Earth Great Again) and the French people are not into the new world order crap eitherI had a smile on my face the rest of the way to my hotel. I only wish I could have stopped and taken pictures with them, or if I realized earlier what was going on, taken a picture as I drove by.
