If that were so, there would be less human caused yellow snow in NDak.
Haven’t been there. Have loved ones who work the North Slope. And, have read personal narratives.

indicates that depending on wind-chill, frost bite occurs within 5 minutes from -48 to -98 degrees F.
My North Slope loved ones may have also routinely exaggerated their narratives for effect.
