Your statement was "Men have got to learn to control themselves", taking isolated incidents of illegal behavior (groping) and projecting it onto men as a class, as something men as a class need to address.

You would probably have a negative response to somebody saying "women need to stop being sluts".

Yes, some men grope. Some men murder and engage in acts of genocide, too (and women do various illegal acts too). Yet saying "men (as a class) need to learn to control themselves" is not a productive plan.

I get your point in that it's not all men, but I've seen enough of it to know it's a major problem.

It's not the only problem. "Patronizing" the "products" of abusive pimps and human traffickers is even worse.

I don't hate men or group them all into this class, but I read articles about this or the billions men spend on prostitutes every year in this country alone, not to mention what I've seen on the streets, and I don't like what I see. Do you?
