Patricia Heaton made her own suggestion on social media after TIME's Person of the Year announced its shortlist on Monday night, offering up actor and humanitarian Gary Sinise.
"Hey @TIME , why isn’t @GarySinise ever on the Person of the Year list? Hey @TheAcademy, why isn’t he ever picked for the #jeanhersholt humanitarian award? He raises $30M a year to build homes for wounded vets along with his #goldstarfamily support. Retweet!" the "Everybody Loves Raymond" actress wrote in a tweet.
Heaton's choice was apparently well-received online — with more than 30,000 people sharing her opinion.

Conservatives Patricia Heaton, Gary Sinise and James Woods are a few of the good people in Hollywood not afraid to speak out.
One great lady. Only way a conservative would get noticed like that is to slam/ridicule them.

In a saner world, Gary Sinise would get the Nobel Prize.
To raise $30 Million ever is a huge accomplishment.
From what Patricia says, Gary may have done this level of fund raising more than once. Outstanding!
I hope he’s been invited to Trump’s White House.
I would not have expected The Kenyan to invite Gary for many reasons.
I think the criteria is more skewed to news impact than merit. That’s why Hitler was on the cover once.

Of course - naming the dead muslim brotherhood guy helps keep him sainted and in the news, thereby putting the spotlight on the president not caring that he was murdered....because, you know, racist, islamophobe and all that.
Gary Sinise was Heaton’s pick, it’s a shame time didn’t agree.
Big fan of Patricia. She’s good people. A true rarity in her field. Yep, ditto for Gary and Jimmy.
Because as we know, all these phony awards are nothing more than statements of who adhered to the liberal dogma the best. The Academy awards, the Oscars, the Nobel Prize, all the same all political in the extreme. A complete joke.
(Sadly, I think they will more likely pick Stormy Daniels, not Gary 😠.)
