I would add that I think the team that scores the most points will win the game.
(An actual quote I heard from Derek Sanderson before a Bruins/Habs game years ago.)
Im rooting hard for Mahomes and the Chiefs, but Id never bet against the Pats.
So what you’re saying is that he’s due for a win... Nice!

The frigid forecast for the game in KC favors the Patriots in my opinion.
KC is a whole ‘nother level at home, and the Patriots have been generally awful on the road this year. It is possible the Patriots have actually gotten their act together during the recent home streak, but this looks like it could be ugly for the Patriots.
Tom Brady gets flustered easily.
Especially when he is rushed and hurried.
I’m not sure that qualifies as “easily”.
By mistake, do you mean throwing the ball up for grabs mistake or do you mean he should have retired or something else?
Full disclosure - I am a Dolphins fan (don’t laugh to hard)
Finally... A voice of reason.... Brady has a .775 winning percentage.... The impressive part... That’s after playing 267 career games... Meaning he’s only lost 60 times. Otto Graham who played from 1950 to 55 is the only QB with a better percentage of .788, but he only played in 71 games.
Think of this... Brady would need to lose 19 games in a row to lose as many games as Peyton Manning did in his career. So he would need to lose every game over the next season and three games in the season after to lose as many as Manning did.
Brady is a machine... That being said... He’s 41 going on 80 and looked terrible this season, but you know what I say... Let’s win one more for the gimpper.
When good teams play off, it’s a toss up regardless of the “odds”.
I’m a Lions fan...laugh all you want.
Yes, the retirement thing. Brady shoulda done it last year.
you obviously have never watched tom baby close enough to know how to beat him... joe flacco said he was a better qb than brady and then went out and beat him... Tom baby cried to the refs and even inadvertantly struck one of them, but because he was nearly in tears, they did not eject him from the game. He is never to blame for his losses, and even his fans make excuses for him.
The Patriots have had a long and good run as the best team in the NFL, and Brady as the GOAT QB.
However, at some point, that has got to end, and another, more hungrier team will take over.
Hell, I thought that new team was Atlanta in the previous to last year Super Bowl, but that last quarter was one of the best comebacks I’ve seen. When the Eagles won last year, I thought that would be a good time for TB to retire.
I’d be happy to see them and TB get one more ring, but it gets harder every year.
Is it the end of the era now? Do they have one more win in them? Two more? I don’t know, but I’m doubting it.
KC, NO and LA also want to win, and didn’t get this far just to lose to the Patriots.
Nobody knows.
Predict all you want, was my point, but nobody KNOWS!
And fans and anti-fans are notoriously biased. Anyone on this thread should have to declare their team before posting. I’m in Alabama, but we don’t have a home team per se (not Atlanta, never liked Ted Turner). So I’ve been a Patriots fan since I was stationed up on Cape Cod 30 + years ago.
So, for now, just a bunch of opinions (including mine), and like a-holes, everybody’s got ‘em, and they all stink!
Never count out Tom Brady and Bill Belichek being able to put together a smart game. That being said, it’s harder. These younger players grew up watching Brady play football. They “get” his game.
Certainly a soft division has helped them out. But there’s still 10 more games in the season. And usually teams that float in a bad division crumble in the playoffs when they face real teams. Remarkable run no matter how you slice it.
That's the advantage Vegas gives home teams.
This game is a push.
Especially when he is rushed and hurried.
That's the book around the league on Brady.
I liked the look on his face (Brady) when a few weeks ago they lost to the Dolphins in the last seconds. What a play!
Interesting point.
But I would never bet money against Brady & Belichick.
