Of course the shocking thing about that stat isn’t the 0-4 on the road, it’s 20-3 at home. Hard to have a good road playoff record when you never go on the road. 8 trips to the conference finals in a row, almost all at home.
Big question to me is Reid. He has a long history of getting out coached in the playoffs, and full fledged embarassed when it’s Belichick on the other side. Has he figured it out this time? Or maybe the Pats on the road this season are so bad he doesn’t have to.

Being in a patsy division like the AFC East makes it easy to pile up the wins and ensure a division crown and a first rounds bye, and usually a #1 seed. Miami-Buffalo-NY Jets, guaranteed 4-5 wins at least. The AFC West has Denver/San Diego/KC, with two of the three being more competitive every year than the entire non NE portion of the AFC East. The South is also mediocre, but no consistent NE style power to take advantage. The north has Pittsburgh and Baltimore to check each other.
That said, you still have to win the games, and NE does it, and when they win the Super Bowl, they are never in Foxboro. The Lord of this world gave them and the Cowboys patsy divisions to win regularly.
