If the haters want to beat Brady and the Patriots, they should try loving them.

It just might be the tactic that defeats the Patriots.

Nothing else has been able to touch 'em.

How about that .... a world that accepts the best quarteback in football history with his winningest team in football history.

I live in Steeler country and just LOVE a Patriot Steeler match-up.

You don't know Brady/Patriot haters like Steeler fans.

....”people really shouldn’t get their knickers in a knot over a game”.....

I use to think that but no longer. Yes it’s a game however it’s a whole lot more than JUST a game. Since I moved to Steeler territory one learns fast you cannot escape football season without being seen as an un-welcomed outsider. So I had to learn what it was about this sport that people so identified with the players, that even in work places if there’s a game everybody knows it and is the buzz all day long and even before.

It’s a time when friends and family gather to watch the game, even if some don’t. And by being there with them you understand their excitement and their disappointment if they lose. No matter what they’re facing in real life watching a game is all that matters for that time..

I don’t like the game any better mind you, but I dearly love the peoples love of the game and ‘their’ players because they not only cheer them on they get angry at them when they don’t play up to par, laugh WITH them when something goes crazy, and overall sees these players and teams personally as part of their family throughout the season.

Overall it’s a wonderful way of connection and love of the game for that.....and so much more...

"dead last in all the conditioning tests" Yeah. Brady didn't exactly look in tip top condition.

It beats a tie, right?

Frankly, both games were effectively ties. Minutiae decided which teams went to the Superbowl, and if the Chiefs and Saints had gone, it also would have been decided by minutiae.

The game winner was when a Chiefs player had the audacity to touch St. Tom and drew the most laughable roughing the QB call in the history of football.
That kept the drive alive.

That was indeed a particularly bad call. It should have been the pass interference call on the same play that kept the drive alive.

Wasn’t the last td by KC caused by a pick play and getting away with it?

Actually, that was a lot more egregious than a pick. He plowed the defender over and basically tackled him into the other defender.

I root for Brady more than the Patriots.

I like Brady because every time they doubt him, he proves them wrong.

I believe they should go back to ties in the regular season. If you can’t resolve it in 60 minutes, why should you get credit for a win in OT, over a team that won their game in regulation?

I would in fact go to a point system.

3 points for a regulation win
2 points for an overtime win
1 point for an overtime loss
0 points for a regulation loss.

... and it’s not like Michigan is never in the spotlight.
I don’t know how in the hell Brady got overlooked.

Lloyd Carr. He kept trying not to play him. For even the two teams considering drafting him, they thought there had to be a reason. One of the NFL shows had an old interview where the Patriots admitted they delayed picking him for that specific reason.

Also, did you see his combine pictures, and his record-setting 40 time?

Joe Montana was drafted in the 3rd Round as the 82nd overall pick.
