Clearly they ran an article that was completely Fake News.

It seems that the only thing they got right in their hit piece was the spelling of her name (and I’m not even sure about that).
Media scum.
Most people would be embarrassed to have to publish a page of factual errors and admit that they had to pay damages to the victim of their defamation. But since this is the Telegraph, just as 98% of U.S. media, they have no shame.
She is beautiful, smart, classy! We love her!
The apology makes me want to read the offending article!
I wonder if it’s still available? Must be a doozy.
Reminds me of the apology the Kevin Kline character wrung out of the John Cleese character in “A Fish Called Wanda”.
Archie: All right, all right, I apologize.
Otto: You’re really sorry?
Archie: I’m really really sorry. I apologize unreservedly.
Otto: You take it back?
Archie: I do. I offer a complete and utter retraction. The imputation was totally without basis in fact, and was in no way fair comment, and was motivated purely by malice, and I deeply regret any distress that my comments may have caused you or your family, and I hereby undertake not to repeat any such slander at any time in the future.
Wow!
