Please enlighten us. I’m not a veterinarian and I don’t play one on TV. They use pigs for a human analog when doing research on medicine. Dogs and cats aren’t close enough.

On cats and dogs they don’t need an analog. They use dogs and cats. Yes

There are politics in veterinary sciences as there are in human medicine. It is something to watch for. But what benefit would a vet get telling you it is unsafe to feed your pet onions, garlic, raisins and chocolate? It makes no sense not to heed the vets recommendations on this.

what benefit does any medical professional get when giving bad advice? they ALL give bad advice way too often.

perhaps you’ll rush your beloved dog to the vet ($$) if they eat a grape?

dogs can eat anything we eat. period.
