Lydia, widow and seller of purple(very lucrative). Proverbs 31!(she didn’t always stay home but made home a very profitable enterprise...”she looketh upon a piece of property to buy it!” Satanic? only if the children’s needs weren’t being met, perhaps.

Yes, the Proverbs 31 wife of noble character is portrayed as being wise with the things to which she had been entrusted by her husband, including business enterprises.

But nowhere is it said that "she findeth a solid day job outside the home and raketh in the dough in equal or greater measure to that of her husband."

That said, I don't think God is going to smite a woman for working to sustain the household.

many women worked as prophestes and worked on the go, traveling in many regions spreading the gospel right alongside the apostles, and on their own even-

“There were many women who exhibited leadership in both the Old and New Testaments:

Exodus 15:20: Miriam, the sister of Aaron was a prophetess and one of the triad of leaders of Israel during the Exodus from Egypt.

Judges 4 & 5: Deborah, a prophet-judge, headed the army of ancient Israel.

2 Kings 22:14; 2 Chronicles 34:22 Huldah, a prophet, verified the authenticity of the “Book of the Law of the Lord given through Moses.” She triggered a religious renewal.

Acts 9:36 The author of Luke referred to a female disciple by her Aramaic name Tabitha, who was also known by her Greek name Dorcas. She became sick had died; Peter brought her back to life.

Acts 21:8: Philip the evangelist had four unmarried daughters who were prophets.

Philippians 4:2: Paul refers to two women, Euodia and Syntyche, as coworkers who were active evangelicals, spreading the gospel.

Romans 16:1: Paul refers to Phoebe as a minister (diakonos) of the church at Cenchrea. Some translations say deaconess; others try to obscure her position by mistranslating it as “servant” or “helper”.

Romans 16:3: Paul refers to Priscilla as another of his “fellow workers in Christ Jesus” (NIV) Other translations refer to her as a “co-worker”. But other translations attempt to downgrade her status by calling her a “helper”. The original Greek word is “synergoi”, which literally means “fellow worker” or “colleague.” (7)

Romans 16:7: Paul refers to a male apostle, Andronicus, and a female apostle, Junia, as “outstanding among the apostles” (NIV) The Amplified Bible translates this passage as “They are men held in high esteem among the apostles” The Revised Standard Version shows it as “they are men of note among the apostles”. The reference to them both being men does not appear in the original Greek text. The word “men” was simply inserted by the translators, apparently because the translators’ minds recoiled from the concept of a female apostle. Many translations, including the Amplified Bible, Rheims New Testament, New American Standard Bible, and the New International Version simply picked the letter “s” out of thin air, and converted the original “Junia” (a woman) into “Junias” (a man). “

Hm. Is it a problem if they touch at all? What if his torso contacts here torso. What if she touches him?

I am just weirded out by all of this crap nowadays.

No wonder people are engrossed in their cell phones, tablets, and computers. You can’t get criticized for touching them.

Yet.

I don’t care what he does in his private life. I have enjoyed watching some of his movies, though not all.

I take him for what he is. If he were a militant homosexual with all that goes along with it, no, I wouldn’t like him or watch his movies, because his activities would then conflict with my values.

But from what I can tell, he is just someone interested in acting and living his life without using it as a Bully Pulpit. I have no problem with that.

Must we know? That’s how gays became accepted due to conservatives asking this of those who were suspect and then conservative straights like myself used to call weak guys gay as teenagers. How dumb are the straight conservatives? We are partially at fault with the gay acceptance.

Why do you mean gay? He’s not gay. That is probably a rumor started by gay Hollywood actors jealous of Reeves’ National Hero status.

He’s a humble, down to earth regular type that likes motorcycles, Jim Beam, firearms, fist fights, dogs, hot chicks and a pack of Lucky’s.

if it’s possible, he’s more of a modern day Charlton Heston, Chuck Bronson or John Wayne. Love this guy.

I know one thing about him. When his woman was pregnant and had a miscarriage at 8 months, they named the baby daughter. That tells me one hell of a lot about his attitude. From everything I’ve read, the world will be a better place if more people acted like him. No pun intended

At least we know he thinks The Unborn are actually people. That puts him up one big giant step above most of Hollywood in my book.

I learned how to not be grabby with women when I was a youngster.

I did too. Then puberty hit.

“Perhaps women shouldn’t drive either. Maybe going out alone without a man by their side is frowned on by you as well?”

It is amazing how many people think that they can answer an argument by attributing bad motives to those who disagree with them. Using this kind of reasoning, you can believe or not believe anything about anything, without having to bother to deal with facts or logic.
