The Republican walk-out must have focused people that don’t ordinarily go in for activism. There was a huge convoy that descended upon Salem. Some local businesses had signed onto the cap and trade bill. I think it was virtue signaling to their millenial customers, for the most part. Some flipped when they saw the backlash. A local brewery, Seven Devils, seems to be sticking with it.
