In preparation for two upcoming friendlies against Russia, the U.S. women’s national team played the FC Dallas U-15 boys academy team on Sunday and fell 5-2, according to FC Dallas’ official website. This friendly came as the U.S. looked to tune up before taking on Russia on Thursday night in a friendly.
Just last month the U.S. lost the SheBelieves Cup, winning the first game over Germany 1-0 before losing to England (1-0) and France (3-0).
Of course, this match against the academy team was very informal and should not be a major cause for alarm. The U.S. surely wasn’t going all out, with the main goal being to get some minutes on the pitch, build chemistry when it comes to moving the ball around, improve defensive shape and get ready for Russia.

This story is good for a laugh but I’ll go out on a limb and say that the women didn’t take it very seriously.
Just amazing how many people here are fine rooting against the USA. Amazing how many people here have to get in the mud with rapino and root against Team USA. As I said, amazing.

This is not a one time occurrence. The USWNT is often beat by boys teams.
Bingo. The Australian national women’s team were crushed when they played a high school boy’s team. Equal pay for such mediocre play? Really?

No records were kept because there is nothing newsworthy here. They USWNT often lose these scrimmages to boys teams.
And now they have their Fourth World Cup.

There were no records because it was not a game, it was a scrimmage.
People here are not rooting against the USA. That's absurd. What I see going on is people rooting against a group of the Radical Lesbian Wing of the SJWarriors. I saw 2-3 pics on another thread of the Midfielders wrapped in our flag with huge smiles. They got rooted for.
That said, you are FRee to root for the 'team'. You can even do it while shaking your head. Carry on.
Women’s soccer is played on the same dimension field as mens but obviously a female goalkeeper can not cover as much ground as a man. It’s really a totally different game than male soccer and requires a lower skill level . Women move slower so there is much more time and space to play passes, etc., etc.
Just me, but I would have guessed the Butch team would have done their best to defeat ANY team of MALE opponents
Remind me how many World Cup victories the US men have.

You have to wonder about people who expect the National Team travels to Dallas to beat a u15 Team in front of their families, friends and coaches.
