Stopped to make a deposit at the bank, today. They had a sign up saying they would be closed on, Indigenous Peoples’ Day next Monday.
So, the cancer is everywhere - even in Cow Town, USA. :(
Probably a snowballs chance you know where but it would be nice if New York started a Ellis Island Immigrants Day. A day to honor legal immigrants from all over Europe who came through Ellis Island and helped build our country. Included all 4 of my grandparents. They have the records.
This makes me furious. The liberal city council made this decision out of the blue. Should have been put to a vote by the taxpayers of Dallas.
