Once the House Votes Impeachment isn't the House "Investigation" Over?

Once the House votes impeachment, doesnt it move to the Senate automatically? no more house committee investigations?

if that's true it is smart of Trump to force the vote, goes to Senate, dies.

There is supposed to be a vote to open the impeachment process, and a second vote in the house to impeach.

House democrats are trying to skip first vote, even though there is precedent to do so.

Interesting. When does the House present evidence of High Crimes?

Don't they have to draft up articles of impeachment first, before they send anything to the Senate?

After the vote that they skipped to open an inquiry.

Trump is asking the House to vote to BEGIN the impeachment process. When the House did that earlier this year, there were not enough votes to begin the process. So, unless and until that vote gets overturned, Trump maintains there is no authority that has power in these U.S.

And isn’t this all supposed to be done in the Judiciary committee?

Regardless, I don’t expect House Democrats to follow the rules and I don’t expect their conspirators in the press to squawk.

Let me restate. It is after the skipped vote, the investigation, and the vote of the whole House that will likely never come on whether to impeach and send the prosecutors to the Senate.

Trump is demanding the house hold a vote on holding an “impeachment inquiry”. He’s not asking for a vote to Impeach in which articles of Impeachment would have been drawn up.

Traditionally the house votes to hold an Impeachment Inquiry and then the whole house participates in the inquiry. After which articles of impeachment are drawn up and voted on and sent to the Senate.

What’s happening now, is partisan inquiry using the hcommittees of the house, but denying fair participation by the Republicans, open hearings, and participation by the White House counsel among others.

I don’t know if there are rules set in stone. I’ve heard tv law professors say that they can make up the rules as they go along. All they go by is tradition and/or precedent.

They are not investigating, they are prevaricating, they are fabricating, because demon rats are liars and shifty Schiff is chief among them.

Schiff is trying to build a 'gallows' but he will end up hanging the demon rat party on his gallows. (See the OT Book of Esther)

Well the precedent the Dems are setting is destroying this Constitutional Republic and any rule of law therein.

The CONSTITUTION states that ‘The House’ votes to open impeachment inquiry, not the Speaker, not a lying sleazy deviant committee chairman, THE HOUSE, plural/inclusive.

They can keep impeaching him.

Not like anything matters or anything will stop them.

Something needs to stop them though, they are the, ojes that committed treason and tried framing the president. Hillary and bill and chelsea all need long jail time.

No. The judiciary committee then investigates (holds hearings, subpoenas witnesses, etc). When ready the case is sent to the senate for trial with specific alkehations
