Colin Kaepernick celebrated “Unthanksgiving Day” by ripping the “US government” for having “stolen” over a “billion acres” from indigenous people, during an annual ceremony held in San Francisco, California, Thursday.
“The US government has stolen over 1.5 billion acres of land from Indigenous people. Thank you to my Indigenous family, I’m with you today and always,” the former 49ers quarterback wrote in a tweet Thursday afternoon:

I am Scots/Irish and Tsalagi mix...My highlander Scots ancestors were ran out of Scotland to Ireland, then they who blended with the Irish left for the “new world” and a better life...They intermarried with a lot of American Indians including my Tsalagi ancestors...
I have absolutely no problem with Pilgrim celebrations, Revolutionary War celebrations or monuments, War of 1812 celebrations or monuments, Trail of Tears monuments, Civil War monuments (BOTH sides), any and all monuments and celebrations of American history or exceptionalism...
These liberal leftists cannot abide with happy, industrious people who enjoy life in the greatest country this planet has...
I just get so damn tired of these people wanting to change things, destroy things that occurred 398 (1621) years ago and forward to today...
