Class envy... she's rich, she can afford it, she got what she deserves for wearing something ostentatious like that.
Never mind that she was at a club for like-minded people who expected better service and care for the price they paid.

I just think that she should have taken care of business like an adult before she took the trivial item out.
I don’t own a Hermes but I do own some nice bags. Couple of LV’s, a Chanel, Gucci, Dior, etc. I bought them to use. I’m not any extra careful with them than I am with anything else other than keeping an eye on them so no one steals them. That Hermes can probably be cleaned.
I had similar incident involving a $1800 Cerruti suit while having a dinner in a restaurant. The waiter took my jacket and brought it back cleaned before I finished dinner. They offered a dessert and 10% discount and that’s all. Never thought about suing them.
Maybe this woman has no business wearing a 30k handbag?
You’d think for $30,000 the darn handbag could at least what a Ziploc bag can do and repel water.
I generally don’t believe some wine could do any big time damage to it. There might be some wear and tear related to cleaning it but the person heartbroken about it has no business wearing such stuff at all.
Well done!
Sorry about the formatting. You can probably just go back and put the search terms in yourself. You can also pull up PDFs of the pleadings.
There is a cross-complaint for contribution from a fictitious defendant but it appears to relate to a fictitious ABC Company (she added a fictitious John Doe employee and a fictitious ABC Company so do what you like with that).
