I have severe sleep apnea and have successfully used a CPAP for more than 20 years. Only recently have I been waking in the night to urinate partly due to an enlarged prostate and partly due to my keeping very hydrated. Before my sleep apnea was being treated, I would wake up not due to an urge to urinate, but due to gasping for breath.
I am very glad you had the diagnosed.
I have a family member who I need to talk with about doing the same. It’s not so much deep snoring, but what I understand is her difficulty exhaling.
