This virus is very “virulent” ie easily spread, but terribly deadly.
While I am not saying there is no need to be concerned, this is NOT a civilization killer by any means.
It doesn’t seem terribly deadly, but I suppose we will discover it’s mortality rate soon enough, because it looks like it’s been on planes, so I don’t think there will be any containing it.

as far as i can tell it is not as bad as influenza A. Having said that the way China is reacting it is either worse than we know or China is being China or both
