The silver was used prior to the arrival of antibiotics. Nowadays the amount of silver in the solutions is so very limited that it is of no benefit whatsoever.To get the benefits of silver, you would need 5 or 10 times the amount that you would find in a bottle at the hippy health food store.

As if drinking multiple glasses a day wasn't bad enough, there was no quality control as to how much silver was in each glass. I believe it was Dr. Oz who told him that he had in effect tattooed his organs and skin from the inside.

Not quite. Kodak has patents on silver nanoparticles for antibacterial applications. I did quite a bit of the electron microscopy to support those patents.

That can happen when you someone adds salt (silver chloride) to the solution when making it on their own. As I stated before, I have used it for 25 years and there is no trace of blue on my skin. Amazon has many thousands of reviews on colloidal silver btw.
