His on the air sayings were at time sexist but not worthy of being fired. There must be much more off the air that we do not know about.

He was uncomfortablle with Bernie Sanders before the networks decided to be anti Bernie. His timing was bad.

I thought the same thing. He's said some things recently that were over the line, but others on MSNBC have said things far more outrageous, and were given a pass. Something big must have happened behind the scenes for him to be thrown off the air so suddenly. They didn't even allow him to complete one last show - just a few minutes to announce he was leaving, and that was it. I didn't see the show last night, but from what I read, the guy who came in and finished the show was caught completely by surprise when he had to step in and take over at the last minute.
