If true, it may have been a bioweapon. Eliminate the over 50’s with illness/lack of ICU availability and sterilize the youngsters. Complete population replacement possible w/o a shot fired within 2 generations.
Anything with a high fever will do that. Measles did that, I think.
What a freaking, double whammy nightmare.
I notice most of these ridiculous articles about these health concerns always have the word “may” in them. All these articles do is serve to keep people scared, anxious, and hopeless.

Chewing its way through various body parts, R0 between 2 and 4, popping up near China’s only level 4 lab. Yeah, it sounds more and more like something being weaponized, then somebody spilled it.
Had not hear about the possible effect on fertility. I’ve been wondering why the response to this worldwide has been so extreme.
Maybe they were planning to use it against the Uighurs. Perhaps that’s why they’ve been rounding them up into camps. But it got out.
Governments must now know that it is not only very contagious, but it can cause infertility, which is why they’re willing to take huge hits to their economies, and reelection chances, to stop it.
I would also explain why the worldwide response was at first fairly lackadaisical, and then got very serious very quickly.
