It looks like Italy has started trending lower on new cases!! I hope it continues!
Onward toward the Easter resurrection!
It's becoming a problem in New York City because of the high residential density of Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn and Queens, which makes spreading the disease very easy. Even New York Governor Andrew Cuomo had a "Jesus moment" and now aggressively pursuing testing and medical help in the New York City boroughs.
Which one?
Thank you!
Two deaths reported in NC from COVID-19; Harnett County cases now in double-digits
Just left the hospital where my wife is a patient. In a large city in New England, not Boston.
The National Guard just put up a 50ish bed tent hospital in the parking lot. It wasnt for triagethere is already one of those. This is for overflow patients.
I guess the third floor of rooms is running out. This very urban city has a couple of large hospitals serving it.
Not judging why they would do this...just saying its being done. And it will be in use soon.
Forsythia! I tell ya...Forsythia.

BLEACH HELP STICKY
NO BLEACH AT THE GROCERY?
NO PROBLEM!
Go to home improvement store and buy liquid pool bleach.
It’s sodium hypochlorite...usually 10%-solution but CHECK YOUR LABEL!
Our Lowe’s sells it for about $3.50/gallon
There were two pallets, in boxes contain three one gallon jugs.
IT MUST BE DILUTED.
THIS IS CAUSTIC. THE VAPORS WELL EAT METAL, SO READ STORAGE DIRECTIONS WELL.
THIS 10% CHLORINE IS 10-11 times stronger than what is sold at the grocery, which ranges from 2% to 6% solution.
This is simple but...
WARNING, IF YOU DON’T KNOW WHAT YOU’RE DOING, DON’T DO THIS.
QUESTION...How much bleach is safe to consume?
ANSWER here...
https://www.google.com/search?q=how+much+ppm+chlorine+dangerous&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8&client=firefox-b-1-m
‘The allowable chlorine levels in drinking water (up to 4 parts per million) pose no known or expected health risk [including] an adequate margin of safety.’
QUESTION...what is the correct ppm chlorine for disinfecting?
ANSWER HERE...
https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-m&sxsrf=ALeKk00dZrYlx3NBchd_XAxs9CcWECk4Rg%3A1585158633410&q=what+is+the+correct+ppm+chlorine+for+sanitizing+solution&oq=what+is+the+correct+ppm+chlorine+for+sanitizing+solution&aqs=heirloom-srp..
“A chlorine sanitizer solution should have a concentration of 50 to 100 parts per million (ppm) in water between 75 and 100 degrees Fahrenheit, with a required contact time of at least seven seconds. Chlorine test strips are available to help you ensure the correct solution is created”
Chlorine test strips are available at Amazon.com
SO NOW WE KNOW THE MARGINS
How to determine how much liquid pool bleach to how much water?
From the site; “This easy-to-use calculator tells you how much bleach product to dilute with water to get your desired concentration (ppm) of chlorine solution. It is intended for use by public health units, health care facilities, child care centres, swimming pool operators, and the general public (e.g., for disinfection of wells and homes).
Important: Always add the bleach solution to the water when preparing the solution, not vice versa.
EXAMPLE: For my own use, I input these numbers...
Concentration of bleach product = My pool chlorine sodium hypochlorite gallon jug shows 10% on the label. CHECK YOUR OWN LABEL FOR YOUR %
Desired concentration of chlorine solution = I want 50ppm concentration after diluting with water
Desired volume of chlorine solution = I want to make one gallon
Desired unit of measure for bleach product...I have a syringe, so I’ll use ml.
RESULT...
“To make your chlorine solution add
1.99 millilitres of bleach to 1.00 US gallon of water”
One gallon of 10% sodium hypochlorite LIQUID pool chlorine is as much as,11 TIMES, as what you but at the grocery.
DO NOT DRINK
DO NOT USE IT IN THE LAUNDRY UNLESS YOU DILUTE IT CORRECTLY
DO NOT GET IT IN YOUR EYES
THIS INFORMATION IS POSTED FOR EDUCATIONAL PURPOSES AND THE NUMBERS I USED SHOULD BE RESEARCHED BY EACH USER, PROVIDING THEIR OWN GATHERING OF SOUND INFORMATION.
NEVER MIX CHLORINE WITH ANY OTHER CHEMICALS...NEVER
