Of course we will have a second wave.
This country is NOT going to stay in lockdown through the summer and fall.
It just won’t happen, no matter the course of events.
No, there’s no way that a continued lockdown is going to happen.
I think people are chomping at the bit for mid-April but by the end of the month, if things don’t let up come what may, there’s going to be wholesale rebellion against any further restrictions.
Much as our overlords want to control us all, they cannot put everyone in jail.
Maybe so. A gradual re-opening, such as ending home confinement first and allowing curbside pick-up from so-called “non-essential” businesses, then later on opening up those non-essential businesses and not quarantining out-of-state travelers, and finally opening up bars, restaurants and other popular gathering places sometime in the summer should knock that problem back some, assuming widespread distribution of promising treatments AND assuming there isn’t a COVID clusterf*ck reulting from on-site Easter services or some such.
