Does the number of Fearpers on this thread correlate with the daily number of people dying nationally with CV? Based on that calculation I anticipate that Fearper activity will be at 50% of its peak level.

Another bad day for the Fearpers. The only good thing and they surely will bleat that the IMHE revised deaths upward to a projected 74,000 by June 1. But this even plays into our analysis. Will post my response once our favorite mongers of fear show their faces. Unless they take the second day off!

Last night I was talking to a very good friend who works as a chaplain in hospice care in Mass. She is a Christian and I thought I had as much respect for her as I could for another human. But that respect level managed to jump last night as I heard what she is dealing with now on the very front lines in this battle. Most that she provides care to these days have covid. And they are dying. And they are alone. It broke my heart and I pray that she stays safe. she doesn't need to work. Especially now. But she is one of the only chaplains her company still has working. She is an absolute warrior. She told me about a Christian nurse she knew who was dealing with covid patients who contracted the virus. That nurse took her own life. These would not have been the typical stories of her work and our general discussion if this was just the flu.

If you don't see and hear about the death around you, be grateful rather than look to castigate as President Trump has walked a fine line in dealing with this and preventing it from multiplying worse than it has. Have some politicians gone overboard and need to be reined in? Absolutely. But this is not the flu. And the animosity and condescension this ongoing thread has created on this great website is easily the worst thing I have witnessed here. I promise this will be my last reply here. I hope others on both sides follow suit.

You all run around stating that 2 + 2 is greater than 3 as if you were the ones who discovered it and as if that is a precise answer.

This thread is like a group of emotionally abused, resentful kids who form a club to rage against the world with low IQ sarcasm and fake courage (and fake humor I might add.)

But I'm glad flubros are here. Even the beautiful forest needs mold, decay and mosquitos.
