Following up on yesterday’s discussion about Biden’s and Trump’s mask policies -
For a political issue to have a big impact you need to politicians with the exact opposite viewpoint. Think of abortion, for example, where opposite views are held by each party and this has a tremendous impact on how people vote. Why not make Corona one of these issues? Going beyond the mask issue, Trump should go full Flubro and let Biden go full Fearbro. There have been times when the Fearbro side perhaps would have more votes. But in November Flubro policies and views will definitely rule the day.

As one of the original Fearpers back in January due to watching my relatives in China go thru their government bullshit, I have watched and learned all I can about this bioweapon.
It is weak, it culls the weakest of our population. I have known people who have had the virus (one of my sisters), and known people who have died from it.
There are indeed some prophylactic compounds to prevent contracting it, one of which I take daily.

Agree with you 100%. What I have learned is that this has become an issue of moral superiority. Moral superiority is highly addictive. People want to, need to feel morally superior. History is replete with examples: fascism in Spain, Italy and Germany, bolshevism in the former USSR, Maoism in China. This Coronavirus fraud has shown me how such monsters as Hitler and Stalin are made. Every one of us wants to be better than our antagonists.

Taking the US population as 333 456 000 (US Census Bureau estimate), the overall mortality rate is then 0.037%.
The CDC does not report OMR directly, which may be the problem.
