A quibble:
The United States has slowly slid into a “Parliamentary Democracy” where-in we vote politicians into office (democracy) to tell us how to live by enacting laws (parliamentary governance).
Karens.
Our current difference is that Trump is not acting like a PM (in as much as Obama did act like a PM).
So, when they say that they will lose their democracy, they are absolutely correct.
I, for one, welcome the loss of “their democracy”.
It isn’t mine.
It isn’t Trump’s, either.
That would be a good meme: Dont Elect a Karen.
Could you compare this with an actual Republic in terms of governance?
With the sheep finally waking up, some are realizing what's been taken.
I look forward to the return of Originalist constitutional law and the following was also in my comment at post 531
"Not one person has bothered to point out WE don't have a democracy to lose. We have a REPUBLIC to lose."
We are in agreement regarding your last comments.
Whenever you hear the phrase “our democracy” spoken, you can be sure it is a Democrat talking (regardless of the letter after their name).
“Our democracy” is a dog whistle that alerts all lib/democrap/socialists that something important is being said by the high command, and they should listen and repeat it.
It isnt mine.
It isnt Trumps, either.
