Sharon Stone says that looks matter.
“You don’t even realize how much [looks] matter until they start to go,” Stone, who stars in the new Netflix drama “Ratched,” a prequel to “One Flew Over the Cuckoo’s Nest,” told the Telegraph in a newly released interview.
It’s a “big, fat stupid lie if anyone says that they don’t,” the Beverly Hills resident says.
That’s why Stone, 62, is disciplined about maintaining her trim physique, despite COVID-19 restrictions.

Maybe she should mention that to Killiary as they showing keep her in tarps.
Looks matter?
I’ve been saying that for years.
But CRAZY matters just as much...
I think her comment is true about the modern world.
But it’s a shame.
We have become a culture that is obsessed with youth and beauty. Everyone wants to be age 22 or so for as long as they possibly can. If you are 55 (or whatever) and don’t look like you are 22, then you are useless.
It would be nice if we could somehow rid ourselves of our obsession with youth and beauty. It is not a good thing.
She made her career out of getting out of getting “looks.” Those looks did not necessarily go to her face.

If looks didn’t matter, there wouldn’t be a need for the word “looks”.
Of course, she’s right.
Proverbs 11:22 also applies to Sharon Stone... As a jewel of gold in a swine’s snout, so is a fair woman which is without discretion.
Employers like younger workers-cheaper. So what else is new? The trick is to acknowledge the obvious and deal with it. Don’t wait until it’s too late. Lower your expectations and you won’t be as disappointed.

I always get a kick out of very good looking women when looking for a mate say looks don’t matter, what’s inside and character bla bla bla.
Later on when you see them with a guy it’s never an ugly guy but a handsome guy.
One of my wife’s aquintances is back in the dating pool and she is very attractive at age 49-near the top in looks. The first line in her dating ad “if you are not attractive keep scrolling on”. At least she is honest.
