I’ve tried from both my iPad as well as my iPhone and I keep getting the message “oops, something went wrong. Please try again later.” Something went wrong all right… I’m wondering if these bastards are doing some self protection because of a mass exodus. If they allow everybody to delete their account who wants to I can’t imagine what it would do to damage their brand. Not that they haven’t done enough on their own. I sense and anticipated financial tanking, well deserved however. They’ve earned it…

Deactivating is not as effective as deleting your account.
If you just deactivate it you’re still on their books.
Plus they can reactivate it and send you propaganda anytime they want.
Just post election facts about Sleepy stealing the election. Post stuff about where’s hunter or condemn antifa for breaking windows and infiltrating MAGA. This is time to exercise absolute freedom on the platform. They either delete the account for you or you get the word out.
I just deactivated my Twitter account and deleted the app from my I-Phone.
Apparently you have to deactivate first and then after 30 days the account is deleted.
Is that how they keep their fake numbers up by not letting you close your account ,LOL

I’m gone. Tried to sign back on it asked ‘Activate Account’ I replied no. It will probably take awhile. When I tried to deactivate from Facebook it about 2 weeks. Kept asking me “are you sure you want to go”, or something like that. They eventually got rid of me.
Just say something against their policies and you’ll be banned. Problem solved.
I’ve been trying for 2 days. I really don’t do much on it just read a few things maybe they like me.
I got the same message on my iPad but succeeded deactivating on my phone. It felt good too.

I just joined the protest and deleted by Twitter account that I never used anyway, and set up a new account on Parler. I figure I might as well create the Parler account to give the protest proper credibility.
I deactivated mine a couple of days ago. When I told friends, they asked me for advice because they were having difficulty deactivating theirs. Wonder how soon it’ll be before we hear Twitter whining about how many people left? Will they ever admit their mistake?

My small account got suspended for being openly MAGA and now they say I can’t deactivate it because it is suspended. Catch-22 weasels.
