The evidence for Pacific Islander exploration and settlement of America (at least South and Central America) is much more compelling than for what is being claimed here about the Chinese.
One thing I noticed near the end of the show when the host was talking to a Chinese ‘map expert” was how the “expert” pointed out map detail that Europeans didn’t possess at the time this Chinese map was supposedly made. The Appalachian mountains were labeled, and the ‘expert’ translated the Chinese text into a word that sounded very close to Appalachia (appachia, or something like that? I can’t remember). But the problem with this is that the first to use the term to describe the mountain range were the Spanish, and the name came from a small Indian Tribe around Tallahassee. The name had no connection to the mountain range until the Spanish began to use this tribal name to describe an ever expanding region - which eventually became the region we know today as Appalachia.
Obviously this Chinese word that sounds like Appalachia was derived from the Spanish term. The odds that the Chinese would chose the same name as the Spanish are slim to none - considering that the name doesn’t really have much connection with the region any way. That’s the problem with forgeries. It ‘s difficult to come up with one that doesn’t betray itself with inconsistencies like this.
Have you read the transcript of that speech given by the former Chinese defense minister a few years ago? One of his points was that the Chinese came to America first and that it is therefore fitting for China to colonize America.

Aside from NOT coming west, I am not sure what could have been done to prevent that. And the Settlers in North America had little to do with that.
The Settlers in North America killed them outright with firearms; but the damage had been done by disease 100 years earlier.
Eventually—even if Cortez had not infected the Mexican people, trade would have commenced as the Western Europeans reached the resource rich North American Continent. Literally, with first contact, he diseases would would have been spread. The deaths would have occurred in the 1600s rather than the 1500s.

Exactly. That’s my main point in posting this. I first started watching with no thoughts of politics. As I began to find flaws with the arguments I didn’t think much of it. Just another over eager researcher trying ‘prove’ something before he’s actually proven it. But then it kind of clicked. This is a narrative that is clearly being pushed by the Communist Chinese. These innocent looking native Chinese experts should never been taken at face value.
Are they now suggesting the USA technically belongs to China?

Here’s an interesting article that discusses the authenticity of the 1417 Chinese map. Contrary to what you would concluded from watching this show, the map’s authenticity is far from being verified. On the contrary. It contains anachronisms that disqualify it on its face.

I watch the Ancient Alien stuff as a source of entertainment. Most of what’s presented appears to be wishful thinking, except for the ancient structures.
The ability of humans to perfectly cut stone, in particular perfect inside square cuts, without tool marks is amazing. Then be able to move such cuttings weighing hundreds of tons several miles and elevating them into position.
Today’s technology cannot duplicate what went on thousands of years ago. Are they creations of God? Something not documented in the Bible or other religious works? If Jesus returned today, how many people would consider him a fraud and laugh themselves to near death?
Let the flaming begin.
