On Thursday, Team USA coach Dave Durden was pressed repeatedly by reporters on Andrew’s stance, and by extension, his living arrangements among his teammates.
Durden said the U.S. team is adhering to the extensive COVID protocols in place and at least sounded confident that Andrew wouldn’t post a health threat....
Durden claimed not to know Andrew’s precise living arrangements in the Athletes’ Village but his mere presence with the team could create huge competitive issues for the Americans. Though the International Olympic Committee hasn’t mandated vaccines — it estimated recently that 80 per cent of competitors will be fully vaxxed — there are strict lockdown rules in place, including close contact tracing, should there be an outbreak or positive....
Most pointed among them came from former U.S. swimmer Maya DiRado. The four-time medallist at the 2016 Rio Games took to Twitter to lambaste Andrew.
“That Michael would make a decision that puts even a bit of risk on his teammates for his own perceived well-being frustrates me,” DiRado wrote. “I wish he’d think harder about what he’s proud to represent.”...

From my understanding the antibody tests were deemed to be error prone.
You might be thinking of the PCR tests. Those ARE wildly inacurate. Antibody tests actually work well from what I’ve read.

Correct-the PCR is not accurate especially when cycled at around 40 or more. And antibody tests are more accurate. However, antibodies fade so that test is insufficient. T cells are the important indicator after the antibodies have been reduced.

Assuming this isn’t even a joke, the swimming pool is CHLORINATED! Virus will be killed on water contact of eyes, mouth and nose. The rest of the body exterior will be clean as a whistle.

Why can’t they test him for antibodies?? He’s the last guy going to get or spread Covid. He is more immune to new variants than athletes who took the vax.
There is an antibody test that shows you have immunity. There are two. One gives you a yes / no and one tells you the quantative amount of antibodies. Every urgent care has them.
No one cares. It’s so sad, forcing people with natural immunity to still get the vaccine!! There is zero science for it.
