Those were local cops; the AL state troopers were on either side of Saban. Uniforms are blue and black with Smokey the bear hat. The officer who trucked the girl was in black shirt and pants, no trooper hat. Our state boys did just fine; you may want to direct your dislike to the College Station police.
Whoever it was, just knocking someone on there ass is not an appropriate LE response. If they were a real threat, they should have been arrested an led away in handcuffs.
