From what I read, yes. But, I’ve also seen advice to go ahead and let them fire you because you could get it reversed for wrongful dismissal. Only saying this because I wouldn’t depend on the unemployment.

And trust me, if I am fired I will indeed sue them for wrongful dismissal, me and many others. I’ll have to read up on unemployment benefits. New York was the only state I’ve seen that said they won’t give benefits to those who are fired because they won’t take the poison, but I could be wrong.
