I want to see how companies treat “Juneteenth”, as it is now a full-fledged federal holiday. Like MLK’s birthday they can’t very well ignore it (das raciss); hopefully we’ll get another holiday two weeks before Independence Day.

My company isn’t closed monday. Outside the “usual suspect” (financial sector, postal, schools) I don’t know anybody marking MLK. It’s like presidents’ day, the holiday nobody cares about (although starting last year my company did on that one).
MLK was a distinguished Republican. He helped free the South from the Democrat party. But he was betrayed by his followers. They took the silver and became Democrats, and helped to destroy America’s cities.
