New York Mayor Eric Adams said white reporters and editors were misinterpreting stories about his fight to crackdown on woke state bail reform laws after his trip to Albany on Monday.
Adams, 61, met with Senate Majority Leader Andrea Stewart-Cousins and Assembly Speaker Carl Heastie to discuss removing the cash bail system as the city faces a 40 percent surge in crime this year.
Although Adams claimed that the meeting was constructive, his visit was described as unsuccessful by both New York City tabloids after Assembly members said they would 'hold the line' on the bail reforms and Hochul announced that revisiting the law would likely not be included in this year's annual budget.

I grew up on Queens, lived in Suffolk after getting married. I was smart enough to get off LI when my kids were toddlers. Unfortunately I didn’t get the hell out of NYS. Its beautiful up here in the Finger Lakes area…but its still NYS which is rapidly turning into a third world police state.
I lived in South Jamesport from 1971-1985 . One of my ancestors - James Tuthill - settled Jamesport / South Jamesport in 1883 .

Adams has a history of racebaiting as Brooklyn borough President. He is a progressive black DiBlasio that, unlike DiBlasio, does not totally hate the police department because he was a cop. But make no mistake about it, you will hear him talk race 24/7 with a chip on his shoulder against white and asian folk. It will be a constant drumbeat and any criticism lodged against him will always end up with him accusing his critics of being anti black.
