Squirrel is good to eat, and I hear that long pig is also very tasty, but I've yet to try it.
It is sure a treat to get fresh stuff from garden in The winter months. I just wish to atoms could grow in the winter lol (I know you can do,hothouse stuff, but they aren’t as good)

Look at abebooks.com and search for hydroponics. There are oodles of good books that are really inexpensive.

I tried the foil thing, added a Dixie cup around the foil, AND waited until mid July to start my seeds. I also sprayed with insecticidal soap and removed bugs and eggs by hand. Last year I got two yellow squash and no zucchini.
This year they’re getting inject with bacilla thuringis. Good tip about burying the stem, though.
