From the film of him practicing, Baldwin drew it from the holster cocked, with his finger on the trigger. He then thrust his hand forward, finger still on the trigger.
This is where Baldwin came up with the “I didn’t pull the trigger” BS and the “a firearm in Baldwin’s hand killed”.
His finger stayed stationary and the revolver moved forward. BANG.
