love watching great horses run...this undefeated colt is a great one...
at the 6 furlong mark,...Prat just lets him loose...
But it’s only 1 horsepower! 😜
How do his times line up against Secretariat? Is he in the ballpark?
When any horse wins the triple crown, breaks the time record in all 3 races, still holds two of them and wins the Belmont by over 30 lengths, then we can compare them to Secretariat, otherwise it’s just idle talk.

Secretariat and some others before/after are a different breed given the frequency, speed and success with which rhey could run. But every once in a while, there are freakshow horses that you just know when you see them. Flightline is one, Arrogate another within more recent years.
ummm..relax..the question is he the best SINCE Secretariat...btw..Secretariat owns all 3 Triple Crown race times...
he beat Secretariats Derby time at the same distance yesterday....but hes 4 year old. At the same time, the jockey actually stood up and slowed him with half a furlong left. No telling what he could have done ridden out...also interesting..he’s 7-0...
As they say, he’s “keen to go on”.
Whew, when he went ahead, he just took off, made it look easy.
Great name ... love a good name on a horse. I had Thoroughbreds & getting the Jockey Club to approve a decent name for registration wasn’t easy ... took a couple of tries. Then again, I was a “nobody”, not a big owner.
one more thing...in his 7 races..hes never been touched once with the whip....
that is a great name...but yeah, Prat gave him a nudge and away he went....def looks like he loves running. Hes gonna be tough in the Breeders Cup..
I have relatives who breed racehorses, they say (facetiously) that naming is the hardest part.
I’d worry about the jockey’s name: Prat. Sounds too much like pratfall.
