To frame the incident as politically motivated, to paint anyone who questions what Nancy is doing as a violent threat to the Republic (or "our Democracy", as the De⋔s would say).
This isn’t a national security case.
And yet, a specialist in domestic terrorism has made the sworn affidavit regarding the crime - not the city police. The De⋔s are insecure, and distort the telling of events to deceive.
It’s at worst a B&E, assault and attempted kidnapping.
Yet the Feds want control of the story and no transparency. "The coverup is worse than the crime", as they say, in this case because the intention is to deceptively sway voters with claims that anyone could end up hammered & zip-tied if evil Republicans win elections. The State is scare-mongering, perpetuating falsehoods and spreading corruption.
Before this rot of demonizing patriotic Americans was put in motion (2 or 3 decades ago, with the Clintons, and on steroids with Obama), no one would seriously think to associate a fringe character like DePape with a particular political persuasion. Now, elected leaders at the highest level do so at every opportunity. Deception at that level can't be tolerated. The affiant for the case being made against DePape is being stridently selective of what she alleges, and admits that there is more to the story:
"I have not included every fact known to me concerning this investigation. Instead, I have set forth only the facts to establish probable cause that violations of the federal laws identified have occurred."
There is more to the story. Government officials are creating a version of "more to the story" that is insulting and damaging to patriotic Americans. The true "more to the story" is in evidence they refuse to make public. Deception.

Certainly this was staged!
Capitol police security cameras off. Paul greets the officers, walks back to Depape where the fake assault unfolds.
Windows broken outward/from the inside. Depape busted.
After the election, charges will be dropped reduced, Depape will be deported along with his million dollar door prize for playing the assaultee.
