A seemingly calm Paul Pelosi never let on to responding officers that he was in distress just seconds before he walked back into his house where an intruder bludgeoned him with a hammer, new details from police sources have revealed.
David DePape, 42, is accused of breaking into the Pelosi home and beating Paul Pelosi, 82, over the head with a hammer after reportedly intending to hold his wife, US House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, hostage and break her kneecaps.
Instead of telling officers that he needed help, or trying to flee the home, Pelosi calmly greeted them and then retreated several feet back into the foyer where police saw the DePape strike him with a hammer, police sources close to the investigation told NBC News.
It's not clear if Pelosi was already injured or what his mental state when he walked several feet back into the house, away from police.
But according to the the San Francisco police report, both Pelosi and the intruder each had a hand on the hammer when officers responded to the home, which they reportedly were struggling over as police yelled, 'drop the hammer!'

or Pelosi was drunk, drugged, and/or senile

By changing the story they get various versions out (and without the videos we all know exist) it is impossible to separate fact from fiction.
The only thing that is clear is they don’t want what really happen to get out.

Thatis not what is reported in the complaint.
There are a lot of stories being bandied about. Most of them are fabrication.

I think this is correct.
I have tried to think what I would do in the middle of the night scared out of my mind if I was the only victim in the house. I think there is no way I would not try to flee to the side of the door or down the entry way if that was the only avenue...if all the perp had was a hammer. I might change my mind if it was a gun.
The cops came to the door.
The door was opened.
Pelosi and Depape were each holding the hammer. Depape was also holding Pelosis arm.
The cops directed them to drop the hammer.
Depape gained control of the hammer and hit Pelosi in the head.
Depape was tackled by the police and placed under arrest.
Those are the facts, under oath.
This smells more and more like a staged event, not unlike January 6th, both of which were immediately weaponized by the Media-Dem Party. Nancy Pelosi is in the middle of both events, having left the Capitol unsecured, and now she leaves her mansion unsecured. If her husband was actually injured, he’s just collateral damage to her power-hungry obsession. If the republicans actually take the house they should investigate Nancy Pelosi’s involvement in both of these events.
Scared people do strange things. While it is satisfying to believe Pelosi was involved in something embarrassing I still think there isn’t much more to this than a violent leftist doing violent leftist things.
It was a booty call gone wrong.
If you were a cop, would you not shoot the guy attacking the other guy with a hammer?

I’d think that by now that Nancy would have decided what the official story should be and exerted whatever force was necessary to get the police to memorize the story and repeat it back to the media whenever necessary.
The only thing I can think of for the constantly changing story to continue is that Nancy has decided to get rid of Paul, but wants to wait until after the election to do so.
