I don’t think Gnosticism is it. They think they’ll be normal if they change how they look. They become convinced that their sex is whats wrong and surgery will make it right.
Mental illness is real and those afflicted are very vulnerable to abuse.
Kids have magical thinking. Every so often one dies because they think they can fly. They are not really just younger adults. Society is failing these children just as it fails the even younger children that are murdered by abortions.
I said it is a form.
They think the gender they were born with is evil so they seek to remove their birthed gender in favour of one they can create in order to feel whole.
All things liberal really are about gnosticism.
