In June, three doctors filed a lawsuit against the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for interfering with using ivermectin to treat COVID-19. All three were disciplined for prescribing human-grade ivermectin to treat patients. The attorney for the physicians, Boyden Gray, asserted the FDA’s actions regarding ivermectin went against well-established law and practice regarding the off-label use of FDA-approved drugs.
When the suit was filed, Gray told the Epoch Times, “Congress recognized the importance of letting doctors be doctors and expressly prohibited the FDA from interfering with the practice of medicine.” He continued, “That is exactly what the FDA has done repeatedly throughout this pandemic, assuming authority it doesn’t have and trying to insert itself in the medical decisions of Americans everywhere.”
In a hearing on November 1, the FDA’s lawyers argued, “The cited statements were not directives. They were not mandatory. They were recommendations. They said what parties should do. They said, for example, why you should not take ivermectin to treat COVID-19. They did not say you may not do it, you must not do it. They did not say it’s prohibited or it’s unlawful. They also did not say that doctors may not prescribe ivermectin.”
That’s some pretty innovative hair-splitting. It is almost as if the FDA doesn’t know that in a medical system full of attorneys, statements like this would not chill the use of a drug:

The attached article even says, “The FDA has not authorized or approved ivermectin for use in preventing or treating COVID-19 in humans or animals.

PAXLOVID is investigational because it is still being studied. There is limited information about the safety and effectiveness of using PAXLOVID to treat people with mild-to-moderate COVID-19.

My doctor prescribed Ivermectin for me when I got COVID in January. It may or may not have helped, but it sure didn’t hurt.

Ivermectin doesn’t do anything for people regarding covid.
I don’t know why people have such an obsession in favor or against it. If someone wants to take it, I think that’s a waste of money. But I think people should be able to waste the money if they so choose.

I have been buying it at WM for these past years. It used to be $7.49, but now is $10 and change. It’s not on their website. I have always found it over by the fish, hamster stuff aisle.

I am unvaxxed, and have been a pony paster for about 2+ years.
I haven’t been sick with COVID during that time, nor have I experienced any of the health problems of those in my neighborhood who took the vaccine.
Most of them have developed problems. One died of major clotting. Others have developed menstrual problems, aggressive cancer, rashes that have failed to clear for 2 years, herpes sores on the face of one, high blood pressure,

We all had Covid in September. I took Ivermectin for 5 days and had the mildest bout. My husband took it for 3 days and took longer to shake a cough. For both of us the fever was gone in 24 hours. My son didn’t take any but he had Covid before so it was no worse than allergies for him. My FIL (82) had the roughest time, his fever lasted for two days, and respiratory issues for a week after. But he recovered.
Imagine the lives that would have been saved if the government had permitted the use of early treatment protocols?
What a massive shame.
What is this guy talking about? People had to go to court to get the drug for their dying loved ones being murdered in hospitals.
You still cannot buy Ivermectin over the counter or doctors prescription in many places like California and Minnesota.
If a doctor talks about it they can lose their medical license. How many people have been killed because of this?

So what exactly was the process by which the pharmacy chains stopped dispensing it for such — and the state medical associations moved to take the licenses of doctors who prescribed it?
Presumably they were careful to split legal hairs when they initiated this fascist enforcement of their otherwise (and presumably still) illegal acts.
