The ‘proxy’ rule must go. Covid is no longer a pandemic (as it never was anyway). Be in the House, or you cannot vote. Period.

I’ve posted that often, too. I wonder if any of the Congress critters have considered that. Doubtful. You never know what’s going on in back rooms at any point in time. It’s not about We The People; it’s ONLY about their personal power.

As a Texan, I would agree that Chip Roy in the Senate would be a step-up from Cornyn, but I am hoping Colonel Alan West takes Cornyn’s seat in the next cycle. The time to retire Cornyn has long passed.
