I think the answer, obviously, is to NOT use EVs during holiday periods, as there is no practical way to have enough charging stations to service the number of cars requiring charging, should they all be EVs.

...and when we’re EVs only, then it’s probably best that most people stay home during the holidays, and those who do want to travel, purchase permission slips from the Government, for that privilege.

The only practical way to to do it is to pair an EV vehicle with a gas or hybrid vehicle. Use the EV for short runs around town where you can get back home to recharge. When you have to actually go anywhere, or haul anything large, or haven’t been able to charge your EV, you use your conventional car.

That’s best case. Gas powered cars can’t go away without some pretty big innovations.
