More advice from Joe Biden: 'Just fire the shotgun through the door'

In an interview with Field & Stream magazine on Monday, Vice President Joe Biden once again touted shotguns as the best weapon for self-defense, offering advice similar to the questionable instructions he gave during a Facebook town hall last week.
During that interview, Biden explained his suggestion to his wife Jill for handling an intruder.
“If there’s ever a problem,” Biden said he told his wife, “just walk out on the balcony here— walk out, put that double barrel shot gun and fire two blasts outside the house.”
The problem with Biden’s advice is that it would empty the shotgun and possibly get the shooter in trouble with the law.
Undaunted, Biden gave similar advice in his interview with the hunting and fishing magazine. Field & Stream asked the Vice President whether so-called assault rifles and high-capacity clips, which the administration wants banned, should be allowed for self-defense and target practice.
"Well, the way in which we measure it is—I think most scholars would say—is that as long as you have a weapon sufficient to be able to provide your self-defense,” Biden said. “I did one of these town-hall meetings on the Internet and one guy said, “Well, what happens when the end days come? What happens when there’s the earthquake? I live in California, and I have to protect myself.” I said, “Well, you know, my shotgun will do better for you than your AR-15, because you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

I have shot A full Auto USAS-12. And I have owned the semi version. Very similar to the aa-12
My take aways..
VERY HEAVY.
on FA.. it is a LOT of fun. Flash and noise.
On semi.. it is HEAVY.
bottom line. a 12g is a 12g is a 12g. the weight helps absorb quite a bit of recoil. But, there are better Shotties out there. I’d go with a Benelli. You lose capacity, yes. but, as far as functional, reliable and FAST. the Benellis are far better.
I’ll take one with three mags.

Standing close to a door and shooting holes in it without eyes and ears on is not a good idea. Impressive firepower though.
OK just read about him on youtube. They screwed him over for smoking pot. Which every Tom, Dick, and Harry does today. He should get his show back.

Yah I cringed when he as about to start and thought I hope he puts on goggles!
He was firing this one one handed! Looks like the recoil was somewhere between .22 and 5.56. Almost no recoil and very little rise.
Not sure about full-auto shotguns. It would need brass-cased shotshells, instead of plastic, as plastic can melt in a hot chamber after repeated firings.

I tried to get my girl to by a 20 gauge or even a 410 for home defense.
She went with a 12 gauge.
Took it out and fired it.
Bent her finger on the trigger guard

IIRC, this kid was a local GA kid who did a good Russian accent. The guy who was found murdered was the one behind him to put the channel together and ran it.
You are not allowed to gather an audience online today, or the domestics surveillance comes in and harasses you. And nobody who lives a normal life could imagine how big, or extensive the civilian informant network is, ro hwo much of a pain in the ass they will become.
Of course their control on the platforms is usually enough to suppress most before it gets to that.
But these guys started out before they had really clamped down on the platforms. So the fact they gathered an audience, got pretty big, in this sector, which the domestic intel wants full control of with all their assets being the ones running the audiences, and then the one running the channel turned up dead was always seen as a red flag that things are worse than most know.
Nobody knows this stuff, because they get told anybody can do this, and they never try. It isn’t until you gather an audience and they come in you realize just how far gone the nation is in reality.
