My local morning news covered this in detail. They also had the Governor’s response to this after his address. He said the reporter had a right to do his job and that the arrest should not have happened. I was surprised by his response, I expected something snide and narcissistic.
I watched Chris Cuomo last night because on Wednesday nights he has Bill O’Reilly on - maybe other nights also but I’m only aware of Wednesday. Since the reporter was from News Nation, he covered this but he didn’t seem aware that the Governor had issued any statement. He said they would keep on it and update anything that came up. Needless to say both he and O’Reilly were disgusted at what took place. Who wouldn’t be?
That reporter was one big guy and the it took several cops to take him to the floor..He wasn’t aggressive with them and tried to reason with them but they weren’t having it.
